10,000 Steps Route: PETRIFYING SPRINGS PARK

If a scenic route is what you seek, look no further than Petrifying Springs Park. Affectionately known as “Pets” by local residents, this is the oldest park in Kenosha County. With 350 acres to explore, amenities like hiking trails, a dog park, and playgrounds are all great for keeping you and your crew active. The main multi-use trail that circles around the park offers a paved course making it perfect for running, walking, biking, or even toddling with your little ones. You’ll find shaded areas with trees lining the trail and quaint areas to pause where the Pike River runs through the park.
