Tree Lighting Ceremony

The lighting of the City of Kenosha's Christmas tree will kick off an evening of festivities for the annual Lightin’ Up celebration downtown. The entertainment begins at 3:45 p.m. near the City Christmas tree at Fountain Plaza, west of the Kenosha Public Museum, 5500 First Ave.

The Tree: Each fall the City parks department harvests a Christmas tree donated by a local citizen, which is decorated with 1,200 colored bulbs.

The Location: Outside of the Kenosha Public Museum, 5500 First Avenue (west side of museum). There's a parking lot on the east side of the museum.

This free family program is sure to put you in the holiday mood.

Lightin' Up

Following the Tree Lighting Ceremony, the Lightin' Up celebration continues downtown with family activities, live entertainment, and special promotions at participating Downtown businesses throughout the evening.
