Wisconsin winters are a great time to get outdoors and embrace the fresh, crisp air. 

Downhill skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, sledding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, fat tire biking in the snow, skating on an outdoor ice rink – what's your winter pleasure? We have it all!

When the snow starts to fly, Kenosha rolls out the white carpet with wintry fun for all ages! 

Here’s a helpful tip when visiting the Kenosha Area to do snow-related activities: ​You can use the Snow Report at TravelWisconsin.com to learn about the local trail conditions for cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and downhill skiing & snowboarding.

And that’s not all! Winter in Kenosha means Merry & Bright Christmas events, Kenosha Restaurant Week during a nine-day span in February, and the Snow Daze Festival in Downtown Kenosha on one Saturday.

Fall / Winter FUN 101

Twice a year, we produce a FUN 101 list: 101 Things to See & Do for $10 & Under (Many are FREE!). In September / early October, we post the Fall / Winter FUN 101. Each edition of the list features seasonal events and activities – as well as not-to-miss year-round places in the Kenosha Area. Both free items and budget-friendly ones are included.
