Performing Arts & Theater

Nothing thrills quite like a live performance. Kenosha’s home theatre troupe, the Lakeside Players, offer a full season of plays and musicals at the Rhode Center for the Arts in Downtown Kenosha. University of Wisconsin–Parkside and Carthage College also offer live theatre productions as well as concerts throughout their school year.

The Bristol Renaissance Faire brings you 16th Century merriment, music, food, and games during nine summer weekends. Hundreds of performers entertain you!

Live music can be enjoyed at various venues throughout Kenosha including:
  • Sesquicentennial Bandshell in Pennoyer Park
  • Various restaurants, pubs, craft breweries, and parks

In the summer, there are music series (most are free) at various parks as well as music festivals.

Two music groups have deep roots in the Kenosha community: the Kenosha Symphony Orchestra was established in 1940, while the Kenosha Pops Concert Band was formed in 1922.

Downtown Kenosha is also home to the Kenosha Comedy Club.
