Participating restaurants, supper clubs, cafés, diners, upscale bistros, pubs, and specialty food shops throughout Kenosha County have come up with their own specials and discounts. There are 17 first-time participants.

It’s the Bowls & Books Soupfest Contest at Rhode Center for the Arts. Eight restaurants will be serving from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and eight different restaurants will be serving from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

And that’s not all!

Kenosha Taco Fest, which debuted last year, is expanding and returning in June. The Kenosha History Center presents this event. Also watch for Jerry Smith Farm’s Sweet Corn Fest, the Kenosha County Fair, and Cheese-A-Palooza in August. September will mean many Oktoberfest events. The Kenosha History Center Chili Cook Off happens in October.
