Visit Kenosha has selected the winners of its 2023 Picture Your Kenosha Photo Contest. Hector Cedeno Silva of Kenosha is a winner for submitting a photo of the North Pier Lighthouse, taken by the drone he was operating. Also a winner is Jenni Beljaeff of Kenosha – for her photo of a fireworks display at a Kenosha Kingfish game.

The photos can be seen at VisitKenosha.com/Photos. Each winner will be awarded a dining gift certificate, courtesy of the contest’s sponsors HobNob Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge and The Red Oak Restaurant. Visit Kenosha thanks all of the entrants for participating and the contest’s restaurant sponsors.

The photo contest continues this year. The individuals who submit the winning photos during 2024 will be awarded a Shop, Dine, Play Package (comprised of gift cards to local stores, restaurants, and attractions). The First Place winner’s package is valued at $300, Second Place at $200, and Third Place at $100. The prizes will be awarded in January 2025.

Each photo submitted has the chance to be used on Visit Kenosha’s website, as well as in the Kenosha Area Visitors Guide and other marketing, to promote the Kenosha Area as a fun and exciting place for out-of-town visitors. Photos are judged based on content and quality. Visit Kenosha is looking for photos that represent all four seasons in Kenosha County and that are taken at public places that visitors can enjoy. Examples include photos of recreational activities, landmarks, and attractions.

Photos may easily be submitted online at VisitKenosha.com/Photos.
