Fat Tire Bike Trails: Silver Lake Park is home to 10 miles of mountain bike trails that accommodate all levels from beginner to professional riders. During the winter, the wide trails are machine-groomed, as are connectors in some of the open areas. Snowflake and The Pines trails have a lot of fat bike use and receive a combination of machine grooming and snowshoe grooming when the snow is deep. Grooming is done by volunteers through the Southeastern Wisconsin Trail Alliance (SEWTA) formally known as KORBA. SEWTA is one of the newest official clubs within the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA). The trails are open year round, weather conditions permitting. Check the daily status on the hotline: 262-857-1876. People are asked to check on conditions before going to the trails. Download the map here.

Volunteers from SEWTA/KORBA built the trails. Double track trails are open to standard mountain bikes, hikers, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and dog walkers. Single track trails are open only to snow bikes (fat-bikes) or bikes with tires wider than 3.7 inches. SEWTA volunteers are donating their time to groom the trails so everyone can enjoy the trails during the winter. Please be respectful and walk, ski, snowshoe and ride traditional narrow tire mountain bikes only on the double track trails. Fat-bikes originated in Alaska with tires wide enough to “float” on the snow and yet have traction. This is a rapidly evolving sport with recent predictions that Fat-Bikes will soon reach 1/3 of total bike manufacturing in the near future. Kenosha County is pleased to be able to offer this new form of outdoor recreation in our area. (A fatbike is a mountain bike that is all season, all terrain.)

Silver Fox Disc Golf Course: The Silver Fox Disc Golf Course is a par 56, 18-hole course featuring long, challenging fairways through a forest setting.

A park in the Kenosha County Parks system.
