Annual Kenosha St. Paddy's Guinness Run | Annual Eric Olson Memorial St. Patrick’s Day Parade

This is the second annual event, which highlights the spirit of Irish culture and heritage in our community.
The celebration includes the Annual Eric Olson Memorial St. Patrick’s Day Parade, the Annual Kenosha St. Paddy's Guinness Run, and more! The inaugural event in 2025 drew thousands of visitors to Downtown Kenosha.


Schedule of Events
- Celebration Kick Off at Harbor: 8:30 a.m.
- Parade Staging: 9 a.m. for parade acts.
- Second Annual Kenosha St. Paddy's Guinness Run: 9:30 a.m.
- Second Annual Eric Olson Memorial St. Patrick’s Day Parade steps off: 10:45 a.m. pre-parade, followed by the regular parade at 11 a.m.
- Singing of National Anthem at reviewing stands: 10:45 a.m.
- Block parties: TBA
Second Annual Kenosha St. Paddy's Guinness Run

WHAT
Run or walk through Downtown Kenosha while challenging yourself at each station to finish a Guinness (or Guinness 0.0). See how long it will take you to consume 3 Guinness and cover ~2km; then stay for the parade! There is a non-alcoholic option.
While this is not a timed event, there will be a clock at the finish.
WHEN
March 14, 2026
Check-in will be from 8:00-9:15 a.m. and the run will start at 9:30 a.m., just prior to the Eric Olson Memorial St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Second Annual Eric Olson Memorial St. Patrick’s Day Parade
WHAT
Enjoy floats, marching bands, dance groups, and other entertainment.
The parade is presented by the City of Kenosha, Visit Kenosha, and the Lakeshore Business Improvement District.
WHEN
March 14, 2026
The pre-parade steps off at 10:45 a.m.
Singing of National Anthem at reviewing stands: 10:45 a.m.
The regular parade steps off at 11 a.m.
WHERE
The parade begins at 50th Street and Seventh Avenue, proceeding south on Sixth Avenue to Library Park.
BE IN PARADE
Community members and groups are invited to enter the parade with floats, marching bands, dance groups, and other entertainment.
The deadline for parade applications is Feb. 20, 2026. Parade applications are available at the mayor’s office or online HERE>
Irish families are invited to join the Eric Olson Memorial St. Patrick's Day Parade. The banner entry option provides an opportunity to ride on a float and highlight their heritage with a banner bearing their last name. Cost is $100, and the parade committee provides the float and banners. For questions or an application, contact Kris Kochman in the Mayor's office at kkochman@kenosha.org.




PARKING
People may park free of charge in the parking ramp on Eighth Avenue and 56th Street. Free parking also is allowed on streets throughout Downtown, unless otherwise prohibited.
