I don’t know about you, but when the weather is warm and the days are longer, I want to do all the outside things. Kenosha beer gardens offer the perfect setting for just that! Here is one local’s guide to the beer gardens and breweries in our area.
Petrifying Springs Biergarten
Nestled in the heart of one of Kenosha’s most scenic parks, Petrifying Springs Biergarten is a local favorite. With lush greenery, a family-friendly vibe, and frequent live music performances, it’s ideal for a sunny afternoon or a lively evening out.
What to Try:
Try the limited edition Maibock by Duesterbeck’s. Don’t worry if you miss it, the bartenders will help you pick your perfect pint.
Pro Tip:
Enjoy a walk around "Pets" before settling in at the biergarten! Kid and dog friendly as well! Remember to bring some cash, but don’t worry if you forget, they have ATMs on site!

Hansen Park Beer Garden
The Hansen Park Beer Garden may be new in 2025, but with the same operators as Petrifying Springs Biergarten this modern beer garden is a welcomed addition to this list. With a spacious covered pavilion, fire pits, cushioned couches, it’s a perfect spot to relax and have some fun!
What to Try:
The giant pretzels taste great with a pint. Enjoy a game of giant connect four or relax on comfy couches.
Pro Tip:
You can leave your cash at home! They take cards and you can even tap to pay!
Good to Know:
Just like Petrifying Springs Biergarten, 15% of sales go back to the park system. Just order some delicious food or a refreshing beverage and the rest is covered. Talk about an easy way to give back!

When It Rains, Don’t Worry!
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, head indoors to one of Kenosha’s fantastic local breweries and tap houses. These spots bring the beer garden spirit inside, so you can enjoy a quality brew any day of the year. Rain or shine!
