Whether you own classic cars or you simply appreciate them and want a dose of the nostalgia and camaraderie that can be found at car shows, you’ll want to get these upcoming events on your calendar:
July 22-27, 2025: Kenosha Homecoming Car Show



July 22-27 is the Kenosha Homecoming Car Show with events at various locations. The Kenosha History Center presents this celebration every three years in honor of the 108-year history of automobile manufacturing and engine assembly in Kenosha. Go to VisitKenosha.com/AMC for the full lineup of events. Vehicles must have a connection to Kenosha to be on display at the car show, parade, and cruise-ins. Spectators are welcome at all the events!
Among the Kenosha Homecoming Car Show events:
On July 24, the evening car cruise-in will be at the former Nash/AMC/Chrysler Factory Site (now the Kenosha Innovation Neighborhood), off of 22nd Avenue and 30th Avenue. All Kenosha-made vehicles will enter from 56th Street.
On July 25, the swap meet begins at Kennedy Park. That same day at 4 p.m., the Homecoming Car Show Parade starts at Southport Park. The parade ends at the Kenosha History Center Block Party.
On July 26, the large car show and swap meet take place at Kennedy Park. There’s a fee for show cars and vendors. New this year: the Kenosha History Center has partnered with A+ Mobility for scooter rentals at the July 24 evening cruise-in, both days of the swap meet, and at the car show on July 26. August 9, 2025: Kooler by the Lake
Kooler by the Lake is August 9 at Kennedy Park. This is a Volkswagen / Audi Enthusiast Event held on the Lake Michigan shore. It’s free for spectators; there’s a fee to show your car. A portion of registration fees and beer tent sales will be donated to the Wisconsin Humane Society - Kenosha Campus.
August 23, 2025: “Art of the Car” Car Show
On August 23, the “Art of the Car” Car Show returns to the grounds of Kemper Center next to Lake Michigan. It’s free for spectators; there’s a fee for show cars (register prior to August 9 for a discount).

August 23, 2025: Wheels, Waves, and Flavor
Also on August 23, Wheels, Waves, and Flavor takes place at Great Lakes Yacht Sales. A car show is included in the event. This is part of LakeFest, where there will be numerous activities at the Kenosha Beach House on Simmons Island.
August 30, 2025: Kenosha Classic Cruise-In
The Kenosha Classic Cruise-In happens on August 30 in Downtown Kenosha. This is open to all makes and models of vehicles and motorcycles. It’s free to display your car and free for spectators. Music and food vendors are part of the event.

August 31, 2025: Southern Wisconsin All Airborne Chapter Car Show
The following day, on August 31, the annual Southern Wisconsin All Airborne Chapter Car Show at Petrifying Springs Park takes place. Spectators are free; there’s a fee to show your car. This car show benefits wounded veterans and takes place next to the Petrifying Springs Biergarten near County Highway JR.
Cruise-In Nights
There are also cruise-in nights to enjoy: The Kenosha History Center hosts Cruise-in Nights on August 29 and September 26 that are open to all cars. Cruise-in Nights at Bristol 45 Diner take place on the first, third, fifth Mondays of the month through September.
