In Downtown Kenosha, against the bustling backdrops of passersby and busy businesses, lies Rhode Center for the Arts - a historic theater bringing stories to life by Lakeside Players since 1988. Lakeside Players Inc. is a non-profit community theatre group formed in 1973, while the building was built in 1927.
You’ve seen Lakeside Players immerse their audience in musicals like Beauty and the Beast and Rent, or have seen harrowing tales like Clue and Blithe Spirit. They’ve even hosted summer programs for kids, giving our youth opportunities to get involved in the arts.
But now they’re on a new mission - to save their leaking roof before the clock runs out.

A Mystery Musical
In recent years, the Rhode Center has faced its biggest (and most expensive) challenge - replacing their roof. Now, a group of volunteers has stepped up to raise money to save their building with an artistic flare.
Enter the 24 Hour Musical.
This mystery musical will be produced in 24 hours. From the lights to costumes to choreography to music - nothing begins until the clock starts ticking.
This chaotic theater experience is meant to be fun, challenging, silly, and even slightly terrifying! Audiences will be blown away by the amount of work that can be done in 24 hours - while laughing alongside with the cast when they inevitably forget their lines and choreography.

An Interactive Experience
You don’t have to stay up for the full 24 hours to be involved with the experience. The Lakeside Players Facebook page will be documenting the full process in their livestream beginning at 7pm on July 18th.
Additionally - you can make the cast do silly challenges! With each donation to the 24 Hour Musical, you get closer to unlocking fun challenges for the cast like chugging hot sauce before a solo or taking away their scripts.

Don’t want to wait until the timer starts to learn the musical? There’s a scavenger hunt going on in Downtown Kenosha! Find the letters, unscramble the words, and unlock access to https://24hourmusical.my.canva.site/

It’s going to be 24 hours of sheer theater mayhem - don’t miss it! The 24 Hour Musical is for one day only on July 19th at 7:30pm. It's recommended for ages 16+ as the show contains some adult language. Secure your tickets at rhodecenter.org! Rhode Center for the Arts is located at 514 56th Street.
