2024 Picture Your Kenosha Photo Contest Winners

Visit Kenosha has managed a photo contest for at least 20 years. It’s always fun to look at what photos residents and visitors submit to us … and it’s often hard to narrow the field down to just three winners. We consider photos that are taken in any season – whether spring, summer, fall, or winter. The key element is that the photo is taken at a public place that visitors can enjoy.

That’s because each submitted photo has the chance to be used on Visit Kenosha’s website, as well as in the Kenosha Area Visitors Guide and other marketing, to promote the Kenosha Area as a fun and exciting place for out-of-town visitors. Photos are judged based on content and quality. Hint: we like photos of recreational activities, landmarks, and attractions.

The Winners

We have selected the winners of our 2024 Picture Your Kenosha Photo Contest.

Linda Zaveson of Antioch, IL, took the first place photo titled “Strawberry Surprise” of her granddaughter at Thompson Farm.

Jeremy Thomas of Kenosha took the second place photo titled “Kenosha Morning” of the Kenosha harbor.

Sperry Kopp of Kenosha took the third place photo of the North Pier Lighthouse.

Each winner will be awarded a Shop, Dine, Play Package, comprised of gift cards to local stores, restaurants, and attractions. The First Place winner’s package is valued at $300, Second Place at $200, and Third Place at $100. Visit Kenosha thanks all of the entrants for participating and the businesses for the gift cards.

The photo contest continues this year with the same prize structure. The individuals who submit the winning photos during 2025 will be awarded a Shop, Dine, Play Package (comprised of gift cards to local stores, restaurants, and attractions) in January 2026.
