Two days of live entertainment at the lakefront July 3-4 lead up to Kenosha's Festival Foods Fireworks at dusk on July 4. Also featuring live music, food, a carnival (open July 2-5), Pier Pups Dock Diving, a dual zip line, a Flyboard Wisconsin Watershow, eating contests, free Streetcar Rides all day long on July 4, and much more! Four lighthouses have stood tall in Kenosha. Nearly a dozen lighthouse keepers - including one woman - and many more assistants have taken care of said lighthouses. All this and much more can be learned and experienced at the Southport Light Station Museum. Did you know that 43 shipwrecks have occurred in Lake Michigan near Kenosha? And if it’s a clear day, after you climb 72 steps to the top of the Southport Lighthouse, you can see the Chicago skyline?
