The Civil War Museum hosts this annual event. Programs, exhibits, music, crafts, and dance explore how soldiers and civilians celebrated Christmas during the Civil War. The day’s schedule includes two performances by the West Side Victorian Dancers. This is part of A Downtown Kenosha Christmas - a collection of holiday-inspired events, activities and festivities that’s sure to become a treasured family tradition. From playing pickleball, conquering a rock climbing wall, and learning to swim to dropping in on a Zumba class, enjoying a massage, or competing in an indoor triathlon, the Kenosha YMCA is open and inviting to all ages and all ability levels. Members and day pass users are welcome to use the entire facility. Also, one can show his/her membership card from any Y in the country to use the Kenosha facility. In addition, many free family events are held during the year for the public to enjoy.
