One of Kenosha's favorite music events returns with a powerful cross section of Jazz Rhythm and Blues as the HarborPark festival fills the lakeshore along Celebration Place. Since 1971, crops and kids have been raised at Jerry Smith Produce & Pumpkin Farm. The second generation of the Smith family now owns the farm, with the third generation hoping to carry on the family tradition. Well-known in the area, especially for its pumpkins, sugar cookies, and school field trips, the farm has continued to expand over the years. It started with vegetables on a card table. It’s now a country store with crop boxes, pick-your-own produce, an annual Sweet Corn Festival (Aug 15), and more.
