#41 – Walk, bike, or drive through Kenosha’s four National Register Historic Districts.
#75 – At Pringle Nature Center, rent a GPS unit to go geocaching there.
Colorful kites will fill the sky above Kennedy Park for the 14th annual Q92 Outta Sight Kite Flight Kite Festival. This family event is free to all, with free parking. Professional kite flying teams, a Kids Mad Dash, free kite flying lessons, and more make up this event. Between stunt team performances, watch for candy to fall from the sky during the kids and adult candy drops. Kites and food will be available for sale at the park. More>
It’s a place that offers adult beverages, yet it’s not your typical bar. There are no televisions or hard liquor. Instead, people are encouraged to engage with each other in face-to-face conversation, to color on the coasters, and to play shuffleboard or other games. This is PUBLIC Craft Brewing Co. – which offers “Beer For The People” in Downtown Kenosha. The craft brewery is about getting beer out to the public, owner and head brewer Matt Geary says. “We are not pretentious here.”
