Looking for ideas of what to do here? How about 101 ideas? Here’s a sampling from the Spring/Summer 2017 edition of our FUN 101 list:

#2 – The Kenosha County Parks system is 90 years old! Visit any or all eight parks, including the oldest – Petrifying Springs Park, and the newest – KD Park.

#31 – On Saturdays, join Southport Rigging on a 26-mile Common Grounds Coffee Ride.

#55 – Stroll through the Kenosha Sculpture Walk.

#69 – See life-scale replicas of Tyrannosaurus rex, Gallimimus, and more at the Dinosaur Discovery Museum.

Civil War Museum

Salute to Freedom
June 10

This annual event at the Civil War Museum features a timeline of living history and military encampments that span from the Revolutionary War to World War I. There will be blacksmith demos, Civil War era baseball, period music, games, and crafts for the whole family. This is a free event. The Civil War Museum opened in 2008 and focuses on the contributions of the Upper Middle West – Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Minnesota, and Michigan – to the Civil War. More>
