Small Business Saturday: November 28, 2026

Each year, Small Business Saturday is recognized the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

It starts with an entrepreneur’s dream to open a shop … and soon that dream weaves its way into the fabric of a community. Small, locally owned shops can be found throughout the Kenosha Area. Some have been here for generations, while new ones continue to open.

Local businesses help make our community so unique and welcoming. For small business owners, this isn’t a job – it's their life, their passion. These businesses provide jobs – and support local fundraisers and non-profit organizations.

We invite you to shop in Kenosha for Small Business Saturday. Many businesses will be featuring special offers.

Visit Kenosha has a SHOP SMALL page on our website that lists shops and art galleries offering apparel, home décor, flowers, plants, family games, pet products, Kenosha souvenirs, natural health products, jewelry, specialty food items, antiques, spirited gifts, books, and more.

In honor of Small Business Saturday, watch our social media channels for chances to win prizes at participating venues on Small Business Saturday.

Why Shop Small?
Small Business Saturday is about more than finding the perfect gift or checking items off your holiday shopping list. It's about investing in the community we call home. When you shop at locally owned businesses, more of your dollars stay right here in Kenosha, supporting local jobs, families, community organizations and the entrepreneurs who bring character and creativity to our city. Every purchase makes a difference, and every visit helps keep our local business community thriving!

Whether you're shopping for the holidays, enjoying a meal with friends or discovering a business you've never visited before, make Kenosha your destination for Small Business Saturday!

History: American Express cares deeply about thriving communities and believes small businesses are at the core of every thriving neighborhood. That's why in 2010, they created Small Business Saturday® on the Saturday after Thanksgiving to encourage people to Shop Small and bring more holiday shopping to small businesses.
