Wilmot Mountain, a long-time favorite Midwest ski destination, opened for the 2018-2019 season on November 30, 2018. Experience $13M in renovations and winter adventure for the whole family including skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing. Group and private lessons available.

New this season, Wilmot Mountain will open a new children’s ski and snowboard school rental facility aimed to help check-in flow and enhance the guest experience. A new beginner ski program, “Bunny Hill Basics,” will launch on Wednesday, Jan. 9 and will be offered Wednesday evenings throughout the season. Bunny Hill Basics is a first-time skier program for ages seven and above that includes a one hour ski instruction, lift ticket and ski rental for only $49.

Guests can continue to experience “History in the Making” at Walt’s Tavern where they will enjoy many levels of elevated tavern cuisine while overlooking the mountain.  Walt’s Tavern will be open for lunch Friday-Sunday and dinner Monday-Sunday during the season. 

Back by popular demand this season is the “Ready to Ski/Ready to Ride” program from Wilmot Mountain’s Ski and Snowboard School. This dedicated, beginner program introduces guests to skiing and snowboarding and provides them with the equipment they need to develop a lifelong passion for snow sports. First time skiers and snowboarders ages seven and older can experience Wilmot Mountain's outstanding multi-week instructional program this season and, upon completion of the program, take home a FREE pair of skis or/snowboard.

The 2018-2019 event line-up includes:

  • Ski with Santa & Dine with Santa + Mrs. Claus – Friday, Dec. 21
  • New Year’s Eve Fireworks & Celebration – Monday, Dec. 31
  • NEW!  Season Pass Holder Week – Sunday, Jan. 6 – Friday, Jan. 11
  • Terrain Park Competitions – Friday, Jan 25 and Friday, Feb 22
  • NEW! Chairlift Speed dating – Sunday, Feb. 10
