Kenosha Area Convention & Visitors Bureau Announces Winners of 2017 Photo Contest

The Kenosha Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (KACVB) has selected the winners of its 2017 Picture Your Kenosha Photo Contest. Tyler Repka took his first place photo at Veterans Memorial Park and titles it “I wish I could stay here”. He’s a middle schooler who took the photo of a relative visiting from out of state. Adam Andrews took the second place photo titled “Ice Harbor” with a drone. The third place photo titled “Funset” was taken at Richard Bong State Recreation Area by Jenni Beljaeff. Her family loves to visit Bong in the late summer and later in the day - to cook out and have fun.
The photos can be seen on the KACVB’s website Each winner will be awarded a dining gift certificate, courtesy of Twisted Cuisine, Johnny'Z Pour House, and The Buzz Café/Sazzy B. The KACVB thanks all of the entrants for participating, and our restaurant sponsors.
The photo contest continues in 2018.  Each photo submitted has the chance to be used on KACVB’s website, in the Kenosha Area Visitors Guide and other marketing, to promote the Kenosha Area as a fun and exciting place for out-of-town visitors. Photos are judged based on content and quality. The KACVB is looking for photos that represent all four seasons in Kenosha County, such as photos of festivals and events, recreational activities, landmarks, nature, and attractions.
Photos may easily be submitted online at Another option is to submit print photos or a photo CD with an entry form. For an entry form, visit the website, e-mail, call (262) 654-7307 ext. 13, or visit the KACVB Visitor Information Center in Downtown Kenosha at 812 – 56th St. (Mon.-Fri. 8am-4:30pm).
