Kenosha Area Convention & Visitors Bureau Helps Wisconsin Bundle Up This Winter Season

(November 16, 2017) - The Kenosha Area Convention & Visitors Bureau’s two Visitor Information Centers are once again serving as collection sites for the Wisconsin Department of Tourism’s annual charity drive. Residents are invited to drop off new or gently used coats, sweaters, hats, and mittens as part of the Wisconsin Department of Tourism’s “Big Bundle Up” campaign. All donations, accepted now through January 2 at our two centers, will stay in the community and be distributed through ELCA Outreach Center.

Kenosha’s I-94 Visitor Information Center is located at the southeast corner of I-94 and Hwy. 165, at 10519 - 120th Ave. During the winter season, it’s staffed Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Downtown Center is located at 812 - 56th Street and is staffed Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please call ahead for holiday hours.

This is the seventh year of the Big Bundle Up. To date, the program has collected more than 103,400 warm winter items statewide to help families in need. In addition to the KACVB’s two locations, other collection sites are located throughout the state. With the spirit of the holiday season upon us, donating winter items is the perfect way to give to families in need.
