Transparent Watercolor Society of America Annual National Juried Exhibition

The Transparent Watercolor Society of America displays 80 transparent watercolor paintings from some of the nation's top transparent watercolor artists in this popular annual show. There is a wide range of themes, with all using the transparent watercolor painting method. 

TWSA is a national organization devoted to advancing the stature of transparent watercolor as a major expression and to foster its appreciation. According to its website, “TWSA Prospectus Guidelines for all submissions state: Transparent watercolor applied in a transparent manner on a single sheet of 100% rag or cotton paper which is free of pigment and/or embedded materials.” The use of white paint is unacceptable. Join member artists of the Transparent Watercolor Society for a gallery walk and talk of the exhibit. Each month a new artist will highlight her favorite pieces and provide insights. Gallery Talks are at 2 p.m. on these Sundays:
