Labor Day weekend is seen as the unofficial end of summer – though the calendar says otherwise! If you’re looking for something to do over the three-day holiday weekend, here are some ideas we have:

Two Car Shows

Saturday, September 4: One of Kenosha’s most popular annual events is the Kenosha Classic Cruise-In, which started in 2004. Typically, 1,500 to 1,800 cars are on display in Downtown Kenosha with car enthusiasts from as many as five states – and even Canada – gathering for this event. Open to all makes and models of vehicles and motorcycles, it’s free to display your car and free for spectators. The car show is presented by a team of volunteers from a local car club: Kenosha Classic Street Machines. The car club generously donates to local organizations after the event each year. Details>

Sunday, September 5: The Southern Wisconsin All Airborne Chapter is holding its 18th car show to raise funds for severely wounded veterans. The show is open to all makes of cars, trucks, motorcycles, and military vehicles. The car show takes place next to the Petrifying Springs Biergarten. The organization raises money to assist severely wounded U.S. military personnel; the group is NOT affiliated with the any other wounded warrior program or organization. This is free for spectators. Season Finales

Saturday, September 4 – Monday, September 6: The nine-weekend Bristol Renaissance Faire season comes to a close. Travel back to 1574! The Faire covers 30 acres with entertainment found in 16 different performance areas and all the streets in between. You can partake in Bristol RenQuest™, a Pub Crawl, an escape room game, and much more. There are numerous activities for the entire family to enjoy! Details>

Saturday, September 4: The Aquanut Water Show season comes to a conclusion at Lance Park in Twin Lakes. The award-winning water ski show team performs on Lake Mary throughout the summer.
