If you’re looking to spice up your December and January plans, then I am the gal for you! Kenosha hosts dozens of remarkable and memorable events around the holidays. Here are a few of the events you’d catch me at this holiday/end of the decade!

Event: Holiday Blues Night with Ivy Ford

Where: Kenosha Creative Space on Saturday December 21st, 7pm-11pm, $10

On December 21st put on your favorite ugly sweater and jam out with Miss Ivy Ford, a bold blues kitten who’s sure to get your hands clapping and feet movin’. This confident gal wins over the hearts of her audience with her captivating vocals, upbeat instrumentals, and the Cadillac fellas to help her shine. So come enjoy the lights, drinks, music, and good company down at The Kenosha Creative Space. You don’t want to miss out on seeing this sweet and sassy old soul!

Event: Kids Christmas Cupcake Making

Where: Robins Nest Cakery, on Saturday December 21st 2pm-4pm, AGES 7+ $10 for 4-pack of cupcakes

It’s time to get the kids out of the house before the January cold hits and this downtown bakery is your hotspot. Robin, of Robins Nest Cakery, is ready to create some festive cupcakes with your Christmas angels. Robins Nest is a local Kenosha cake phenomenon who is sure to encourage creativity in the kitchen, and bring home a tasty snack for Santa. All decorating supplies are included with the purchase of the 4pk cupcakes for $10.

Event: NYE in the LOFT at Rustic Road

Where: Rustic Road Brewing Company, $10

Ring in the new decade with Rustic Road Brewing Co, a popular brewery in downtown Kenosha that attracts locals, and visitors, with its diverse brewing culture. The updated LOFT area, above the taproom, is ready to host you and it’s small batch brewing beer haven this New Years eve. This fabulous event is 1920’s themed so come in your best dressed while you sip on the town's best beer. There will be live music:  Would You Kindly?, Resistance, Miss B Haven, and 3 AM Saints, and craft beer and drink specials all night long! Tickets are limited and only  $10 which include: supporting your local businesses, $1 off your first pint, and a FREE champagne toast at Midnight. You can buy these tickets from the venue personally or you can hit up the bands to get your hands on a ticket.
