Celebrate America in Kenosha

Fourth of July Kenosha WI

For all things red, white and blue, look no further than Kenosha!  Start things off with a Patriotic themed Kenosha Pops concert at the Sesuicentennial Bandshell on July 3. These free concerts are a great way to enjoy a summer night by the lake. Pack your picnic and have an All American night out. There will be another concert at the same venue on the 4th - "Let Freedom Sing" - presented by the City of Kenoshsa and Kenosha County. The Thursday performances include the Kenosha Unified School District Continental Band, the Kenosha Pops Band, and Saturday June Band.

Celebreat the 4th of July holiday during the Celebrate America event in Downtown Kenosha! Clear your calendar for a TRIFECTA of patriotism: July 3 starting at 3pm and July 4 - 5 at starting 11am there will be all sorts of family activities at HarborPark. Enjoy food, friends, and fireworks as you Celebrate America with one of the biggest festivals this season. Head down to the lakeside to enjoy THREE DAYS of celebration, complete with live entertainment, a carnival, delicious local food, and much more -- not to mention a gorgeous firework display to complete the night on the Fourth at 9:30pm!  The fireworks can be viewed at many places along the lakefront. Admission is free. Food and beverages are available for purchase. Last year was my family’s first time going to this event and I must say, it’s the best 4th of July experience I’ve ever had!

Want an interactive-twist on parade day? Then the Somers Mile Parade Run is for you!  Taking place prior to the start of the Somers 4th of July parade, this unique event will let you test your speed while you are cheered on by hundreds of parade spectators! The race will start at 1:15pm.  Plan on staying to watch the parade and celebrate the Village of Somers Heroes. There is a free Ice Cream Social after the parade and food will be available for purchase.  Awards will start at 1:45pm.

Visit Kenosha and Celebrate America this 4th of July holiday and experience all the parades and fireworks you can handle! And don't miss Bristol Progress Days later this month for more fireworks and family fun!
