Museum Crawl Kenosha WI

Calling all beer, food, and history lovers! This summer you can experience all three passions in one great event! Put on your walking shoes because this event will take you throughout history – but with a boozy twist – thanks to some amazing local food and beverage vendors. The 9th Annual Museum Crawl will take place on Friday, July 12th, from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. It is a fun, adults-only event (ages 21+), that allows guests to experience local food, beverages, and music while exploring three amazing museums.

Crawlers will make their way through three downtown museums: Dinosaur Discovery Museum, the Civil War Museum, and lastly the Kenosha Public Museum. For just $50 per person ($40 for "Friends of the Museums" members) “Crawlers” enjoy food and desserts from 9 establishments, beverages, and fun! In addition to food, drink, music, and games, there are raffles and educational programs, too.

Some of the phenomenal locally-owned hot spots that are providing food and beverages this year include: Franks Diner, La Fogata, Sazzy B, Capt. Mike's, Elsie Mae's, and Robins Nest Cakery. To pair with your savory food, each stop will offer beer from local breweries including PUBLIC Craft Brewing, Rust Road Brewing, and R'Noggin'. If beer isn't your beverage choice, wine also be available at each museum stop. You'll come for the food but you'll reallystay for the entertainment. As you sip on malt and grapes you'll hear music by three astounding musicians: singer/songwriter Roxie Beane, 'The Voice' contestant Betsy Ade (of the group Betsy Ade & The Well-known Strangers), and last but not least, The Tailspin Band.

Gather your friends and family to experience the fun of Museum Crawl – it is sure to be the historical event of the century! Well, maybe just historical event of the summer. You’ll get to play games (some of which involved THROWING THINGS in a museum!!), explore galleries and exhibits with a cocktail in hand, and eat some of the area’s best foods.

Here are some Pro Tips:

Make sure you park and check-in at the Kenosha Public Museum just before 6:00 PM. This is where you and your posse can catch the streetcar to the Dinosaur Discovery Museum where the party begins! You’ll want the full hour at the Dinosaur Museum, so arrive a little early.

Bring extra money for the raffles. Each guest gets one raffle ticket with their paid admission, but you’ll want to buy more! There are always really great prizes to win. Don’t overlook the Mystery Boxes!

Check out the gift shops at the museums before you leave. You’ll find amazing gifts, Kenosha Swag, and so much more!

Consider becoming a Friend of the Museum. You’ll save on your ticket price, and get a lot of extra perks throughout the year, including savings on future events, classes, and summer camps!

Lastly, make sure that you have reliable transportation home after this fun-filled event. Agree on a designated driver or call an uber – we don’t want you to be extinct like the dinosaurs and mammoths that you’ll see at the event.

Get your tickets now, as this event ALWAYS sells out! Happy Crawling!
