It’s Monday night and you had a jam packed weekend. There are no groceries to be found in your house and that first day back to work took just about all of the energy you had. What’s for dinner? Something that you don’t have to make yourself, am I right? And if you’re anything like me, you like to splurge on the weekends and try to stick to a budget Monday-Thursday. I’m here to share some places around town that offer cheap and easy deals to get you through the week stress free! Whether you are visiting the area or have been a resident for years, dining out with these weeknight deals is extra delicious!

Waterfront Warehouse - On Monday nights you can stop in for a $5 double cheeseburger. Fries are extra, but the burger is big enough that you may not even need them! On Tuesdays if you’re feeling thirsty, they offer $3 brews on tap. Also on wine Wednesday you can enjoy an 8 oz pour for the prize of 5 oz. And last but not least- Thursdays mean 8 traditional or boneless wings for $5! I ordered them last week with a side of brussel sprouts and both were amazing! The Thai Sweet Chili Sauce is SO good.

Sazzy B - If you weren’t quite ready to get back to reality, don’t worry- Monday nights at Sazzy’s call for half off martinis or the cocktail of the week. On Tuesdays, top shelf drinks and select appetizers are half off. It’s the perfect day to come with friends and order a table full of small plates to share without breaking the bank! Midweek you can pair half off wine and the Wednesday weekly pasta special (only $10!). Then on Thursday when you’re ready to get back into weekend mode, Old Fashioneds, Manhattans and Sazeracs are half off all night while the jazz band plays. Some people may view Sazzy’s as more of an “occasion” type of place, but I think it’s important to point out that they make it super easy to enjoy on a budget during the week!

Kaiser's Pizza & Pub - Kaisers offers an “all you can eat pizza” deal Tuesday-Thursday for $6.95. The fine print is that the $6.95 scores you a one topping thin crust pizza (additional toppings are available for an extra charge) and there are no doggy bags allowed. Even so, if you can’t get past the first pizza you order, a $7 10 or 14 inch pizza is still a steal! Also, all thin crust pizzas are half off on Mondays.

Boat House Pub & Eatery - If you’re someone who gets out of work earlier in the afternoon, you might as well take advantage of happy hour! (Just know that those of us still sitting in our cubicles are VERY jealous). At the Boat House, from 3-6pm Domestic Pints and Rail Drinks are $2 and house wines are $3. Also, there are a selection of appetizers that are marked down between $3-$6.

Twisted Cuisine - Wednesday nights bring the best reward for making it through "Hump Day" with Twisted's Wine Wednesdays. All glasses of wine are half price, and all Bites and Shares (these are their small plate selections) are buy one, get one half price. Grab a glass and a little nosh to celebrate the weekend on the horizon. They also offer drink specials on Tuesday and Thursday, so check them out.

Grab’s Burger Bar - Another happy hour to hit up, this one is in an especially great location for students at both Carthage and Parkside. From 3-6pm stop in to take advantage of their half off appetizers (all end up being under $5) and $1 off brews!

Uncle Mike's Highway Pub and Captain Mike's Burger Bar - On Mondays, the Mike’s locations are all about wings and games! Stop into Captain Mike’s downtown for 75 cent wings and team trivia starting at 7:30, or Uncle Mike’s Highway Pub for 75 cent wings, $1 off all drafts and Beer Bingo starting at 8pm!

Rustic Road - Don’t write this place off as just a bar! The brewery recently moved to a new location and has since added more food to their menu. And lucky for us, they offer some crazy deals every day of the week. Mondays you can get a burger and a side for only $4, Tuesdays are half off wings, Wednesdays a $4 brat with a side, and Thursdays $2 off sandwiches. The coolest part of all, Monday-Friday from 4-6pm you get FREE wings with a beer purchase.

Last but not least, I want to remind you all that Kenosha Restaurant Week is just around the corner! Even restaurants that don’t typically offer weekday specials will be serving discounted menus from February 2-February 10. You can find preset breakfast, lunch and dinner options here. Don’t miss out, this is a great opportunity to try some of the best restaurants in town super affordably.

Thanks for reading along- I hope that this week your kitchens stay clean, wallets stay thick and bellies stay full!
