The Women of Carthage Alumni Exhibition

This year, Carthage will celebrate 150 years of enrolling women in the institution. Departments across the College are honoring the history and successes of Carthage women. As part of this celebration, the H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art is proud to present “The Women of Carthage Alumni Exhibition”. The exhibition features a vast range of work from recent graduates and long-standing alumni.

“The Women of Carthage Alumni Exhibition”, along with an array of other exhibitions, highlight prominent female artists from the region and will exclusively feature the artwork of alumnae from the Studio Art Department. By featuring a variety of artwork, “The Women of Carthage Alumni Exhibition” brings attention to the remarkable talent and achievements of women in the arts. This exhibit features a broad range of work from the following recent graduates and long-standing alumni:

The opening reception for The Women of Carthage Alumni Exhibition will take place October 31 at 4:30 p.m. in the H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art. The opening reception is free and open to the public.

The H.F. Johnson Gallery of Art is located above the Johnson Art Center, south of the Hedberg Library and A. F. Siebert Chapel on campus. The gallery is free and open to the public to visit.
