The Be The Change students are raising awareness of the serious issue of bullying with a 5k event. The Be the Change student leaders use the registration fees and donations to sponsor kindness and team-building workshops in middle schools.
¼ mile kids run 6:00 p.m. 5K run/walk 6:30 p.m.
Hosted by The Kenosha Running Club. The course will go around Lake Andrea and will include .8 miles of trail running west of the lake (The Murray Loop).
3 – 9 p.m.
The Wisconsin Bike Federation's 175-mile Ride Across Wisconsin will finish with a celebration at Simmons Island Park.
6 - 7:30 p.m.
Visit their habitats to catch and release dragonflies and damselflies. Discover what makes them so unique and so important.
10 - 11:30 a.m.
Join DNR fisheries staff as they perform the first survey of the lake since the dam was repaired. Discover how electro-shocking gives an overview of lake quality.

The Kenosha County Alliance of Snowmobile Clubs and the National Hot Sled Racing Association are co-sponsoring Grass Drags (snowmobiles racing on grass) and a Swap Meet at the Great Lakes Dragaway, Highway KR.
8:30 – 10:30 a.m. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., run/walk at 9 a.m.
This is an annual run/walk to support the CareNet Family Resources Center in Kenosha. Distance is 5K for run and approximately two miles for the walk.
Featuring 5K Walk/Run, pumpkin patch, hay rides, petting zoo, and kids games at historic Simmons Field, home of Kenosha Kingfish Baseball!
About twice a month every summer, family friendly movies are shown at dusk on a large inflatable screen at the Lance Park Amphitheater, along the shore of Lake Mary in the Village of Twin Lakes.
