The lighthouse and maritime museum, inside the keeper's house, documents Kenosha's lighthouse keepers, shipping and fishing history. Also climb the 1866 Southport Lighthouse. The tower stands 55 feet above the lighthouse grounds. See Kenosha, Lake Michigan and into Illinois and Racine County.

The Durkee Mansion, one of Kenosha’s unique historical landmarks, is a cream brick Italianate, Victorian style home located among the Kemper Center properties on the lakefront. The public is invited to tour the home through October, when it will then close to prepare for the holiday season.

Featuring the Gallery of Trees in the Anderson Arts Center: stroll through an amazing display of beautifully, creatively decorated Christmas trees, wreaths and mantle pieces throughout the entire mansion. Also visit Durkee Mansion.

Join Downtown Kenosha as the City of Kenosha kicks off the holiday season in the brightest of fashion! Downtown Kenosha’s Lightin' Up festivities begin at a special ceremony filled with music and fun as the Mayor and a few lucky children flip the switch to light the City's Official Christmas Tree! Then, enjoy magical lights and holiday cheer throughout Downtown as businesses offer family friendly activities, special holiday sales, live entertainment, art exhibits and more!

Kenosha Kennel Club's AKC licensed dog show and obedience/rally trials. Featuring more than 900 dogs representing 127 different breeds (an estimate). Two days, two shows. Spectators welcome. Free admission. $5 parking fee.
Come show off your car and see what the downtown area has to offer. The 12th annual show is open to all makes and models of vehicles and motorcycles.

The first Friday of each month, the Kenosha Area Convention & Visitors Bureau hosts a free, fun, informative, and tasty Open House at its I-94 Visitor Information Center.

Grill Games BBQ Competition & Lakefront Festival is a music festival featuring outstanding musical acts, a Wisconsin State Championship BBQ contest with teams from the Kansas City Barbeque Society, a Family Fun Area, a Community BBQ Challenge and a Carnival!
