Have you ever wanted to be a superhero? Now you have your chance! Every Kid Needs a Superhero 5k is a run/walk for the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha. Whether you decide to dress up like Wonder Woman, the Hulk, or just in shorts and a t-shirt you will be a superhero to the kids of Kenosha.
Open for self-tours April-October, Fri.-Sun. 1-4 p.m. or by appointment. Closed holidays.
The Durkee Mansion, one of Kenosha’s unique historical landmarks, is a cream brick Italianate, Victorian style home located among the Kemper Center properties on the lakefront. The 150 year old Civil War Mansion is totally restored to its original Victorian splendor.
The public is invited to tour the home April through October, when it will then close to prepare for the holiday season of tours (Christmas at Kemper).
The show starts at 5 p.m., and goes until dark.
The restaurant hosts a car show May through September, the first and third Mondays of the month (and fifth Monday if there are five), with a DJ. This is free; all are welcome!

The Spring Ice Show is a family-friendly event showcasing the skills and talents of the Pleasant Prairie Skating School U. S. Basic Skills program, Freestyle and Synchronized skaters, and exciting guest skaters.
