Robin’s Nest Cakery

Now at a new location with an expanded menu! Check out our soups, quiches, soft pretzels, bagels and more. We'll be adding additional menu items as we continue to grow and settle in to our new storefront.

We are not a traditional bakery, but a custom order sweet shop featuring custom cakes, gourmet cupcakes, and more. Also decorating parties and cake decorating classes (winter only).

You may purchase any cupcake and take it to the do it yourself topping bar. Toppings vary, and could include: crushed oreos, rainbow & chocolate jimmies, seasonal sprinkles, jelly beans, gummy worms, m & m's, peppermint pattys. Then add a drizzle of chocolate, caramel, butterscotch, strawberry or raspberry sauce.

Free Wi-Fi is available at this location.

About the business: While Robin Shiels first opened a storefront in Downtown Kenosha on August 9, 2011, her business got its start more than two years earlier. Mix together a love of baking and one disastrous bridal shower cake, add a cake decorating class along with a few years of experience and a booth at Kenosha HarborMarket, and voila, you have Robin where she is today. Robin shares: “Our philosophy is simple: I bake like my grandmother did. I use the best local ingredients I can find and I make everything fresh. We do not freeze anything and we make everything in small batches. … I've always loved to bake!” How did the name of the business come to be? “It was between Robin's Nest and Robin's Egg.  I like the hominess of Nest.”
