Kenosha’s Premier Waterfront Bar & Grill. Enjoy a fabulous view of the Kenosha harbor! Sit on the deck and enjoy the Kenosha Community Sailing Center lessons taking place before your eyes … watch the boats sailing in and out of Lake Michigan … or pull up your own boat and dock outside the restaurant. Located inside the Kenosha Yacht Club, the restaurant is open to the public.

Featuring upscale pub food, Friday Fish Fry, daily drink and food specials, full bar, indoor and outdoor seating, great service and ambiance. We are available anytime, any day for private parties.

4/29/14 update: Just as a new boating season begins, Breakwater Bar & Grill at Kenosha Yacht Club begins a new chapter with both a new chef and a new menu. Chef Jose R. Burgos Jr. joins the Breakwater kitchen as the new head chef. Trained at the School of Culinary Arts at Kendall College, he worked at Spiaggia in Chicago from 1999 to 2004. He moved to Kenosha in 2004, where he worked at Mangia Trattoria until earlier this year.

Breakwater’s new menu includes appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches and wraps, pasta, entrees, and a Friday Fish Fry. Appetizers include Parmesan and Herb Fries, Calamari, Mussels, Boneless Chicken Wings, and more. Salmon Burger and Beef and Pancetta Burger are among the burger options. Linguine, Baked Fusilli, and Ravioli are the featured pasta items.

Among the sandwiches are a Steak Wrap, Grilled Vegetable Sandwich, Mini Pulled Pork Sliders. All entrees come with a cup of soup or a side salad. Beef Tenderloin, New York Strip, Chicken Breast, and Tuna are among the entrée options.

The Friday Fish Fry includes your choice of hand-breaded or Beer battered wild-caught Pacific Cod, served with Fries, Coleslaw and homemade Tartar sauce for $14. The Cod Boil is available for $16.

Live music is offered on Friday nights throughout the summer. Beginning June 15 (and continuing, weather permitting), open mic is offered on Sunday afternoons from 3 to 7 p.m.
