GO FLY A KITE!!  The 16th annual THE SHORE Outta Sight Kite Flight Kite Festival takes place in Kenosha’s Kennedy Park. It's presented by THE SHORE 92.1, Kenosha News, the City of Kenosha, the Kite Society of Wisconsin & Illinois, Gift of Wings,  Magnum Radio, and WRJN, 1400am radio.

For the 16th time at this event, The Chicago Fire Precision Kite Team will be performing. New this year is 180GO, a precision four line kite flying team, and they will be performing three times each day. They are the world renowned professional kite flying teams from Chicago. In addition to Chicago Fire, and Fire and Ice, The giant Kites of Alex Dagenais from Montreal Canada, will be  making another appearance with their Super Giant Octopus kite, along with a MEGA 150 ft Octopus kite. Milwaukee’s own professional Kite flyer, Paul Koepke, will be performing with FIRE & ICE, all  Professional kite flyers. New this year, Connor Doran from America’s Got Talent will be flying indoors at 2 schools on Friday, June 2nd at 9 a.m., and on both days of the event at Kennedy Park. Jean Lemire will attempt to fly 3 stunt kites all at the same time. Tom and Kathi Deck will be on hand for the fifth time with their giant Bubble machine. This is one of the largest longest running bubble machines in the country.  The Kenosha News will be on hand to make free kites for the kids, always a fun favorite.

This family event is FREE to all, with FREE parking. Fee kites will be given away to the first 100 kids that participate in the City of Kenosha’s “KIDS MAD DASH”. The Kids Mad Dash is 100 kids launching their kites all at the same time. The winner is the first kid that reaches the highest altitude in 60 seconds. LOOK OUT and LOOK UP!

Kites and food will be available for sale at the park.
