Kenosha Public Museums Family Event: Boofest

Show off your costume as you boogie through the Trick or Treat stops at three museums during this Rockin’ BooFest event.

Other free activities include:

  • Kenosha Public Museum (5500 First Ave.): Brew up potions in the Mad Scientist Lab; do some gnarly punk’n painting; break out killer dance moves at the Monster Mash; take photos with the Franken-Frame and funky props.
  • Dinosaur Discovery Museum (5608 Tenth Ave.): Explore the spine-tingling boneyard; Search for creepy crawlies in the haunted dino dig. 
  • Civil War Museum (5400 First Ave.): Stitch together a presidential zombie; Create your own spooky story; Story time for young kids at 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m.; Lantern tours of The Fiery Trial exhibit at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m.
