Chess Night at the Library with the Kenosha Chess Association

First Fridays at the I-94 Visitor Information Center

The first Friday of each month, the Kenosha Area Convention & Visitors Bureau hosts a free, fun, informative, and tasty Open House at its I-94 Visitor Information Center. Travelers taking a break from the road, as well as local residents - tourists in their own town - are invited.

All-Breed Dog Shows and Obedience/Rally Trials

Kenosha Kennel Club's AKC licensed dog show and obedience/rally trials. Over 900 dogs representing 127 different breeds. Two days, two shows. Spectators welcome. Free admission. $5 parking fee.

Pringle Nature Center Nature Story Time Hike

Join us for a story (Raccoons and Ripe Corn by Jim Arnosky) about a mother raccoon and her young who have an all-night feast in a cornfield, with a hike tied to the story. This is a free family event. 

Pleasant Prairie Mud Run

A Down & Dirty 5K Obstacle Course Run! How "tough" is it? As tough as you want it to be. The course is designed for everyone. It is perfect for recreational runners competing in their first 5K race and still challenging enough for the competitive athlete.
