Carthage College Family Fun Night

Carthage hosts Family Fun Nights on most Friday evenings during the school year. Families can enjoy fun and educational activities in Hedberg Library, browse the collection in the Center for Children’s Literature, use the library computers, or use the N. E. Tarble Athletic & Recreation Center.

Free themed activities take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Hedberg Library. The N.E. Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center is available on most Family Fun Nights for a $1 donation to the Kenosha Boys & Girls Club (6 to 9 p.m.). Activities may vary. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 18 must have an adult directly supervising in the Semler Fitness Center.

THEMES:

  • April 7, 2017: This week, the Family Fun Night crew explores the world of classic fairy tales. Get ready for a night filled with magic, dragons, bingo, and even a Humpty Dumpty relay race! It's sure to be an enchanted evening. This Week in the TARC: Pool Only — 7-9 p.m.
  • April 28, 2017: Game Night. Come join the Japanese Club as they teach everyone what makes Japan and Japanese culture cool. We will be having a great time making Japanese themed crafts and playing Japanese games! By the end of the night you will be ready for a real trip to Japan!
  • May 5, 2017: Musical Celebration. Do you love music? Have you ever wanted to try an instrument? Well, you're in luck! For our last Family Fun Night, the American String Teachers Association at Carthage will be bringing their instruments for you to try!
