Public Lake Michigan beach near a park, paved bike trail, two historic lighthouses, two playgrounds with one on the beach and open air picnic pavilion in the park. A City of Kenosha park.
All sea glass lovers are invited to attend. We will comb the beaches (including places where marbles are typically found!) of the Lake Michigan shoreline between Milwaukee and Kenosha (and perhaps northern Illinois if there's time), view fellow glassers’ collections, share knowledge and probably even a meal or two.
Reenactors encamped on Simmons Island add to the atmosphere of the Colonial through Western Fur Trade era of the 1650s through 1850s at the 16th Annual Pike River Rendezvous. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
Hosted by the Southern Wisconsin All Airborne Chapter of the 82nd Airborne Division Association Inc. 100% of all funds raised go to our wounded warriors. There will be a noon ceremony honoring our military.
